A beautiful and riveting tale of friends to lovers. Delilah and Thomas had been friends for years, supporting each other through good and bad times. When Delilah rushedly promises her mother that she will finally made a match, Thomas thinks it's finally his time to woo her. But she'd set her sights on someone else. Now it's up to Thomas to best the matchmaker of the ton at her own game.
I truly enjoyed this book for one beautiful reason: both main characters are kind and good people that care for others (their friends, their families) and try to do good deeds to help others. I think it's wonderful to read about such characters and how they finally find love with one another. It's an interesting plot, full with tenderhearted and funny moments. I love rogues like any the next girl, but seeing Thomas being a non-rake that gets the girl was also very nice to read. They are both so wonderful to each other and they deserve all the happiness the author stored for them.
